MEET THE FOUNDER
Dr. Jouseph Barkho
Dr. Jouseph Barkho is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada with specialization in Plastic Surgery.
He earned his medical degree from the Schulich School of Medicine (Windsor campus) in 2015, followed by his surgical residency in Plastic Surgery at McMaster in 2020. He then pursued additional training in Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in 2021, and Acute and Reconstructive Burn Surgery at the Hamilton General Hospital Burn Unit in 2023.
Presently, he serves the Niagara Region in his private practice and as a consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Niagara Health System.

PATIENT FLOW COORDINATOR
Ashley brings years of experience in both hospital and outpatient healthcare settings, harbouring a strong foundation in coordinating patient care and optimizing clinical workflows at Barkho Plastic Surgery. Ashley ensures patients receive a seamless, supportive experience from their referral to initial consultation.
Charlotte Whitty
CAST TECHNICIAN AND MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Charlotte's background as a Cast Technician and Medical Assistant in hospital based minor procedure departments has made her excel in our practice. Charlotte embodies dedication and a patient-centered approach to surgical care. Charlotte assists Dr. Barkho during in-office procedures while ensuring each patient feels comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit.
REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE
Katrina Di Legge
As a Registered Practical Nurse with a background in surgery, burn and wound care, Katrina brings specialized knowledge and compassionate care to patients throughout their plastic surgery journey. Katrina provides nursing support during surgical procedures and delivers attentive follow-up care to promote healing, comfort, and positive outcomes.

Ariane brings over 20 years of experience in minor surgery and clinical care, with extensive expertise and a compassionate approach to caring for patients and their families in our practice. Ariane provides skilled nursing support throughout surgical procedures while ensuring each patient receives attentive, personalized care before, during, and after treatment. Ariane is dedicated to creating a safe and comfortable environment throughout their experience at Barkho Plastic Surgery.
